Harley-Davidson Museum® Tour

Many people know Milwaukee for its brewing heritage, but others know the city to be the birthplace and home of an American icon, Harley-Davidson® motorcycles. Crane Users Conference participants and their guests will have a chance to experience these chrome and steel machines up close during a tour of the 20-acre Museum campus on Milwaukee’s riverfront.

See more than 450 motorcycles and artifacts, dating back to Serial Number One, the oldest known Harley-Davidson motorcycle. The museum also features stories of extraordinary products, people, history, and Harley-Davidson culture.

Tour of Historic Cedarburg & Milwaukee Public Market
No Charge - For Spouses/Guests only

Locals and tourists alike cherish the historic Cedarburg area for its unique shopping, dining and art experiences. Located just north of Milwaukee, Cedarburg is also home to the Cedar Creek Winery, which will also be a stop for our group on this day.

The Milwaukee Public Market, part of the city's historic Third Ward, is one of the nation's finest public markets, featuring quality, one-of-a-kind selections of artisan and ethnic foods.

A highlight of the day for all those who participate will be a rickshaw ride from the Public Market to the hotel.

Lake Michigan Fishing Excursion
$160 per person

Milwaukee’s location on the shores of beautiful Lake Michigan makes it one of the country’s most popular spots for deep lake fishing and is known for its many types of salmon, trout and bass. 

Conference participants will have a chance to climb aboard a Lake Michigan charter boat to experience some of the most enjoyable and exciting fishing available anywhere in the Midwest. Milwaukee Architectural & Historical Tour
No Charge - For Spouses/Guests Only

​Milwaukee's architectural scene boasts both historic and modern entries, rooted deep in the city's ethnic heritage and boosted by several recognized modern facilities. Most notable is the Milwaukee Art Museum's Quadracci Pavilion, designed by renowned architect Santiago Calatrava, which reaches out like brilliant wings over the Milwaukee lakeshore.

Spouses and guests of conference participants will tour Milwaukee landmarks and learn their role in the history of the city. As a treat, the tour will also stop at Indulgence Chocolatiers and the Purple Door Ice Cream Parlor.  

Lunch will be provided at the Harbor House Restaurant, which overlooks beautiful Lake Michigan.

WEDNESDAY | River Cruise & Dinner Reception
For Conference Participants & Spouses/Guests | Depart from hotel at 5:45 pm

A gentle river cruise and dinner reception is a great way to conclude the second day of the Crane Conference. Participants and their spouses/guests will board the Edelweiss, which will travel through Downtown Milwaukee to provide front-row views of cities architectural treasures and highlights. 

Once the boat docks, guests will take a short trip to Bacchus for dinner in the famed Conservatory Room. Following dinner, we will travel to the Iron Horse Hotel for for dessert and cocktails, ending with a transfer back to the hotel.
As a special "welcome" to Milwaukee, Konecranes is sponsoring a private reception at fabulous Miller Park. Conference participants and their guests will get an insider’s look at the beautiful and impressive steel retractable roof covering one of the big league’s most recognizable venues. 

Following the opening night reception at the stadium, attendees will settle in for that night’s big league baseball battle of the beer cities between Milwaukee and St. Louis.
